The High Court of Taraba state, Jalingo Judicial Division, has adjourned the suit filed by Arewa24 Network Limited against the Registered Trustees of Northern Broadcast Media Owners Association, (NBMOA), and ATAR Communications Nigeria Limited to Thursday, July 18, 2026.
The court sitting, which was scheduled for yesterday to hear arguments on the preliminary objection, failed to hold due to the absence of the presiding judge, Hon. Justice Nuhu Adi.
The matter, which came up before Court No. 2, was initially heard on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The dispute involves Arewa24 Network Limited, a media organisation, and key broadcasting stakeholders in Northern Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the hearing on the preliminary objection has been fixed for the next adjourned date, Thursday, July 18, 2026.
